Secondo Stefano Pavese has always been committed to balancing business growth with environmental sustainability.

In the early 80s it was the only button factory in Europe to adopt a revolutionary closed-loop system for the treatment of waste water from its dyeing and finishing departments in order to prevent leakage into the surrounding environment.

Today, this choice is not only evident in its careful sourcing of raw materials, subject to strict controls on its provenance, but has also been implemented through a modern photovoltaic system on the roof. This meets the energy requirements of the company's production and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 100 tons of CO2 each year.

Secondo Stefano Pavese also contributed to the redevelopment of a former quarry that is now an important green space and a meeting point for the local community.

Therefore creativity and development are employed daily while being respectful to the environment.
